Amazing photos and video from Paul and Albert Retief’s father-and-son motorbike adventure through Northern Vietnam.
Albert Retief, a travel photographer and regular contributor to our Your Photos albums, recently took a motorbike trip through Northern Vietnam with his father, Paul Retief, and documented the whole adventure in photos and video.
Watch this short film of their nine day journey – try not to be too jealous of their experience!
“Father (Paul Retief) and son (Albert Retief) bought motorbikes in Hanoi and completed a 1600 km circular route through Northern Vietnam. Here are a few of the sights and experiences they encountered on their 9 day journey.”
Here’s a selection of photos from the trip – visit Albert’s Flickr photostream for more travel photography.

Great photos. I liked the first photo (even a bit cloudy) in Ha Giang of Nho Que River. That’s a place that I passed on my trips a few hundred times. Your other photos are amazing also. Thank you for sharing.
