Hi all, the time has come to vote for the Photo of the Month for March. The voting process will be shorter than usual this month due to the upcoming public holidays, which means that the winner will be announced by Wednesday.
We’ve listed our five finalists below, and now it’s up to you to decide which photo is the winner. Let us know which one you like the most by leaving a comment! The winning photo will be announced on Wednesday 20 March and will be featured in the April newsletter (subscribe here), as well as the cover photos on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Details on how to submit your photos for next month are included at the bottom of this post.
Each photo is followed by the name of the photographer, in alphabetical order. Remember to click on the image to enlarge.

#05 Louw Roets
05 Louw Roets – Stunning photo! Would love to hear the story behind this “train?” shot.
HI Martin,
Thanks for the vote!
Its a photo of an underground train in Malaysia
going through a tunnel. The trains don’t have any conductors, so you can set up your camera in the front window. I think in this photo I exposed it for 3seconds. To keep the reflection away I literally had to place my hands around the camera lens. Was very very excited when I saw how each photo look different with every turn of the tunnel. Cheers!

Shew, normally voting is pretty easy for me. This time not so much. Several very strong images that invoke different feelings. Seeing as today is Monday & I wish it weren’t, I’ll go with #4, Kyle Mijlof.
