The Simola Hillclimb is a premier South African motorsport event, first running in 2009. Throughout its illustrious 13-year running to date, Simola has born witness to the triumphs of a multitude of internationally renowned figures and household names in the motorsport industry. Famous competitors have been accompanied by some of the finest and rarest motor vehicles known to man, including Ariel Atoms, Lamborghini Aventadors, several varieties of McLaren, Porsche 956s and 917s, and even two 1989 Formula 1 machines.

THE 2022 SIMOLA HILLCLIMB PACKAGE UP FOR GRABS
The comprehensive hospitality package for this prize from Orms and Canon includes the following:
- 4 nights of accommodation in a single room, to be shared by the winner and their plus one. Breakfast will be included.
- Canon representatives will meet the winner and plus one at the hotel on Thursday when they arrive and provide them with top of the line Canon loan gear to capture the Hillclimb.
- Lanyards, high visibility vests and other items pertaining to access and safety will be provided.
- The winner will have VIP parking at the event for the 3 days over which it takes place for convenient access.
- Furthermore, the winner and their plus one will be granted standard entry as well as pit passes for the full 3 days.
- The winner and their guest will be both be gifted the VIP Hospitality Package at the Le Mans Paddock for the full duration of the Hillclimb.
Additionally, the winner will receive the following:
- A voucher for Orms Print Room & Framing to the value of R2 000.
- A voucher for an Orms Cape Town School of Photography Online Self-Paced Course to the value of R5 000.
Please note that these additional prizes only apply to the winner of the competition and not to the guest accompanying them to the 2022 Simola Hillclimb.
Please note the following:
- The winner and their plus one will be responsible for getting themselves to Knysna by car. Transport is not covered as part of the prize.
- Media accreditation is not part of the package.
- The winner and their guest may choose to depart on either the Sunday after the event concludes or on Monday the 9th of May (the day after). However, in either case, the Canon loan gear must be returned to the representatives by Monday morning at the latest.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The Competition is only available to residents of South Africa.
- The Competition runs from 22 March 2022 until midnight on 12 April 2022.
- To be eligible to win, all steps in the entry mechanic must be performed.
- Participants can enter as many times as they like.
- The competition is open to all individuals as described in Point 1, except directors, members, partners, employees, agents, service providers, and consultants of The Organisers as well as their spouses, business partners, and associates.
- The winner of the prize will be contacted via email after the draw. All attempts will be undertaken to contact the winner. These attempts to contact them will be made by email, phone and any other means of contact we have available to us. If there is no response from the winner within 3 days of the initial contact we will be compelled to pick a new winner. The subsequent winner will then fall into the same above criteria for contact.
- The winner and their guest are responsible for arranging their own transport to the 2022 Simola Hillclimb and back.
- Please note that media accreditation is not part of the prize.
- All photographic loan gear provided by Canon must be returned by the morning of Monday the 9th of May at the latest.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
