As a rough indication, the MSRP in the US is $6,800 – However, Canon SA is part of Canon Europe, and as such the local prices may differ.
Watch out guys. Canon are real rip-off when it comes to pricing. I paid R52,000 for my MkIV and a few weeks later the price dropped to R40,000. I am still licking my wounds. I also had one of the first MkIII’s and we all know how much trouble those caused.
