Photos from the dual exhibition openings of Manifestations of Self and Love & Other Drugs at Youngblood last week.
One of our favourite creative spaces, Youngblood in Bree Street, played host to two group exhibition openings last week for the Month of Photography.
The first opening, Manifestations of Self, was the result of a six month self-portrait master class facilitated by Jenny Altschuler and included works from Nina Alexia Brazzo, Sethembile Mszane, Michaela Verity, Caitlin Le Roith, Sue Kramer, Gerda Louw, Lindsay Grie, Sharmla Naidoo and Yvette Stephen.
Love & Other Drugs is a collection of works in progress from Hanna Orlowski, Gerda Louw, Sandra Maytham-Bailey, Marguirette Venter, Meaghan Doig and Gert-Jan van den Bernd. All exploring very different themes but still working together in the amazing space.
The exhibitions will be on show until the 28th of Octber at the Beautifull Life Building, 70 β 72 Bree street, Cape Town. Monday to Friday: 9.00 β 5.00, Sat 10.00 β 5.00pm.
