Capetonian filmmaker Kiko Herrera sent us this great video biography about local photographer Oliver Barnett.
The short documentary introduces the viewer to Oliver’s philosophies and methods behind shooting Aqualibrium, an incredible series of symmetrical photographs. In our previous feature of Oliver’s work, we said: “Oliver has a great eye for spotting intricate and beautiful patterns in nature, and uses symmetry to enhance their visual impact.”
The video was filmed using a Canon 6D, purchased from Orms. We’ve also featured Kiko’s work before: Here’s his video from the Holi One festival in Cape Town earlier this year. For more of his work, visit his website.
