The holidays are almost upon us, so here’s some important dates and trading hours to keep in mind when planning your shopping, as well as your printing and framing orders.
Orms Cape Town & Orms Bellville
Both our stores in Cape Town and Bellville will be open on Monday 16 December 2013. Here’s the stores’ holiday trading hours. On the dates not listed, regular trading hours will be followed.
Monday 16 December 2013: 8AM – 4PM
Saturday 21 December 2013: 8AM – 2PM
Tuesday 24 December 2013: 8AM – 4PM
Wednesday 25 December 2013: Closed
Thursday 26 December 2013: Closed
Tuesday 31 December 2013: 8AM – 4PM
Wednesday 1 January 2014: Closed
Orms Direct
To ensure delivery before Christmas: if making payment via EFT or bank transfer, please place your order on or before Wednesday 18 December 2013, and if you’re making payment via credit card, please place your order on or before Friday 20 December 2013. This only applies to goods that are in stock.
Orms Direct will still be processing orders during regular trading hours, as well as the holiday-specific trading hours listed above.
Orms Print Room & Framing
The Orms Print Room will be open and taking orders during the holiday trading hours listed above, and the current turnaround time on canvas, metal, perspex and wood prints is seven working days. To ensure that your prints are ready before Christmas, please place the order on or before Wednesday 11 December 2013. Orders placed after this date may still be ready before the holidays, but we can’t guarantee it – please enquire in store for confirmation.
The Framing factory will be closed from Friday 20 December 2013 until Wednesday 15 January 2014. Any custom framing orders placed during this time will be ready around 20 January 2014. To ensure that frames are ready before the factory closes, showgrain frames will need to be ordered before Friday 6 December 2013, and stains, ready-made frames or Diasec® mounts will need to be ordered before Friday 13 December 2013.
Orms Photo Books
The turnaround time on all Orms Photo Books and printing orders is currently 7 to 10 working days. Last orders guaranteed to be delivered for Christmas will need to be placed on or before 12 December 2013. Of course, you will still be able to place orders after the 12th, but we will not be able to guarantee delivery before Christmas.
