This is one for those of you out there just starting out in film photography. If you follow the blog you’ve probably seen a few of Matt Day‘s videos here. Matt is a seasoned film photographer with a very informative YouTube channel where he talks about photography and film photography in particular. In this video, Matt shares a few images from a recent trip to Las Vegas. He decided to shoot colour film, Portra 400 and Ektar 100 in particular. So if you are still getting to know the different film stocks and you are unsure where to start with colour negative film, you’ll like this one. Not only do you get to see what the resulting images look like, Matt also talks about what each film is capable of, how to meter for it and the cameras he used on the trip.
