Measuring in at just 12.4cm x 7.1cm x 5.9cm the new Sony Alpha 7C is set to be our new favourite travel companion, that is as soon as we’re able to safely travel again. This small size shouldn’t put you off though cause what’s hiding beneath this rather minute package is a full-frame 24.2-megapixel sensor and an ISO of 100-51200 this pocket-sized camera captures more light than any smartphone, compact digital camera and APS-C camera out there.
The addition of state-of-the-art AF and 10fps continuous shooting capability means that you won’t miss a moment of the action. Couple these with the 5-axis in-body optical image stabilisation mechanism and you can expect a blur-free focused video for human eye AF and stills for the furry friends.
In terms of video capabilities, the Sony Alpha 7C records 4K using the full-pixel readout and 6K oversampling. The option to shoot in S-Log2/3 and HLG is a drawcard for those looking to produce beautifully true to lifer colour works and the slow and quick motions recording options give you the creative freedom to create.
We can hear you asking, “but what about the vlogging capabilities?” and you’ll be pleased to read that the Sony Alpha 7C features a full flippy out screen as well as intuitive touch operation and display features.
