The 2012 Sony World Photography Awards shortlist was recently released by the World Photo Organisation. The shortlisted photos were selected from over 112,000 entries, coming from 171 countries, and will be on display at an exhibition in London during April. The winning photographs will also be announced at this event. We’ve listed a few of the great photographs below, and all of the photos can be viewed over at the WPO website.
