Watch as Commercial Photographer, Sean Tucker set out to challenge and reinvigorate his photography by shooting in a genre he is unfamiliar with – Landscape Photography.

I think many of us, at some point or another, feel that our photography gets stagnated to a degree. Perhaps you feel you shoot the same thing over and over and everything starts looking the same, or you lack challenge in your work. Well, commercial photographer Sean Tucker recently felt a little like that as well. So he set himself a challenge, to take a trip to Snowdonia in Wales in an attempt to reinvigorate his passion and photographic style by shooting in a genre he is unfamiliar with – Landscape Photography.

During the course of the video Sean shares details of how he plans to shoot, his philosophy behind the shots, apps he found useful, as well as a selection of the resulting images at the close of the video. Moreso, he shares the journey and specifically some thoughts around regularly needing to challenge yourself and your photographic skills in order to keep growing.

Equipment used:
Canon 5Dmkii with a Sigma 35mm f1.4
Sony RX100iv
Phantom 3 Standard
Edited in FCPX and graded with James Miller Deluts
