Joe Louw from TimeLapse SA will be in Cape Town this weekend, and has organised a meeting to talk about time lapse photography.
TimeLapse SA‘s Joe Louw will be in Cape Town this weekend and has generously offered his time to talk about the new Shukuma dolley and time lapse photography in general.
It will be more of a get together than a workshop, but it will be a rare opportunity for Capetonians to learn more about time lapse photography from one of the best. Joe will also be demonstrating the Shukuma dolley for those interested in a hands-on experience. Dolleys allow for a range of movements and changes in angles during the recording of time lapse photography – which is easier said than done due to the slow rate at which these precise instruments need to move.
Venue:
Vega Cape Town, 3rd floor, 11 Adderley St, Cape Town.Β From 2PM to 4PM, Saturday 18 August 2012.
If you plan to attend, please email TimeLapse SA to RSVP.
In the meantime, in case you’ve missed it, here’s Joe’s superb Kalahari time lapse “Living On” and some shots of the dolley in action.
