All Cut Up Films have produced this great time-lapse video of Los Angeles, appropriately filmed through a snow globe! The video has been put together from over 4000 stills taken with a Canon 5D Mark II and a home-made tilt/shift lens. The camera was placed upside down in a custom built rig, as the snow globe inverts the projection. You might also notice the shaped bokeh, or out-of-focus highlights – this was achieved using paper cutouts placed over the front of the lens, which act as secondary apertures.
