Check out Jono Kay’s great Cape Town time-lapse, featuring some of the city’s most famous landmarks and locations.

Local photographer Jonathan Kyriakou, also known as Jono Kay, spent two months shooting this great time-lapse video of Cape Town, featuring plenty of the city’s most famous landmarks.

“I wanted to focus on the city and its inhabitants, rather than the usual nature aspect so often documented by timelapsers. This video was filmed over 2 months around Cape Town, with just short of 10,000 frames used.”

The time-lapse was filmed with a Canon 5D Mark II and a variety of lenses. The camera was loaded with Magic Lantern firmware to enable to reduced framerate video capture.
