Orms Photo Art Feature: Meet Sean König, a landscape photographer based in Harrissmith.
Sean König, a freelance web designer and business owner, who is currently residing in Harrissmith, loves shooting landscapes. “I have to admit that living 40 minutes’ drive from one of the most spectacular landscapes (the Drakensberg) in our county has had a huge influence on my life,” says Sean.
Sean’s love for photography started a few years ago when he went on holiday with his wife. After that he was hooked and started his journey into learning as much about the art as possible.
His inspiration comes from the beauty of the earth and his photographs are born from his imagination and emotions that arise when being surrounded by this beauty.
If Sean had to pick one photographer to meet it would be Hougaard Malan. “He seems like a nice guy and has some interesting points about landscape photography. I would like to sit and pick his brain.”
