The Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition
The Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition is open to anyone with an interest in microscopy and photography through the microscope. The competition also has a video category which includes any movie or digital time-lapse photography taken through the microscope. The winning entry receives a cash prize of $3,000. Entries close on 30 April 2023 at 11:59 PM (ET).
12th Leica Street Photo Competition
The Leica Street Photo Competition is back and better than ever. In its 12th year, the Leica Street Photo Competition is inviting photographers worldwide to submit their best street photography for a chance to win the exciting Leica SL2-S camera and a €1000 voucher. The winning image, alongside a pick of the Top 20 images, will be displayed in a dedicated exhibition in Warsaw, Poland. Entries close on 30 January 2023 at 7:59 PM (CET).
2023 Sony World Photography Awards
The Sony World Photography Awards celebrates the best in contemporary photography from the last year. Photographers worldwide are invited to submit their best work. The competition is divided into four categories: Professional, Open, Youth, and Student. The competition is entirely free, and photographers stand a chance of winning a $5,000 cash prize.
Nikon Photo Contest 2022-2023
The Nikon Photo Contest has provided a global platform to photographers since 1969. This year the competition has Photo and Short Film categories, opening up the competition to a broader audience. The grand prize includes ¥ 500,000 (Japanese yen), a Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Digital Camera, and a NIKKOR Z lens. Entries close February 13th 2023, at 4:00 am (UTC).
CEWE Photo Award 2023
The CEWE Photo Awards is one of the largest international photographic awards and is open to photographers worldwide. The competition has ten categories: Architecture & Technology, Landscapes, Animals, Nature, Cooking & Food, Travel & Culture, Hobby & Leisure, People, Aerial Photos and Sports. Photographers stand a chance to win over €250,000 in prizes. Entries close on 31 May 2023.
2022/2023 Getaway Photography Competition
The 2022/2023 Getaway Photography Competition is one of the most exciting photographic competitions on South African soil. Previously the Getaway Competition was solely a wildlife photography competition; however, this year, the guys at Getaway decided to shake things up and expand the competition to include Drone and Landscape Photography, People and Culture, Street Photography, Travel and Destination, and Emerging Talent. Entrants stand a chance of winning prizes worth over R300,000, and it is proudly sponsored by Orms, Canon and Wilderness Safaris.
